2465442 - Unable to Save Configuration UI Rule

Symptom

When clicking on "Save" button after creating a UI rule, nothing happens.

Environment

  • SAP SuccessFactors HCM Suite
  • Metadata Framework (MDF)

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to Admin Center > Manage Configuration UI;
  2. Choose existing UI or create a new one for any MDF Object
  3. Go to Manage UI Rules;



  4. Add a new rule or edit one of the existing;
  5. Add Rule Name and the required conditions > Click Save;
  6. The page does not save the changes.

Cause

There is an empty IF condition in the rule:

Resolution

System will not allow saving the UI when the IF condition is not filled.

You can add any condition to it or set it as "Always True".
