How to create a rule to display email address in documents generated via document generation feature.

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central

Resolution

  1. Create a new rule
  2. Base object DocumentMappingRuleResult
  3. Add a parameter Email Information
  4. Create the logic as per below screenshot. GenericString4 in the THEN condition is a field from DocumentMappingRuleResult Object definition.

You can create different rules for other email types too.

Add above rules under Manage Document Template Mapping Page:

  1. Admin center
  2. Manage Document Template Mapping
  3. Choose respective template
  4. Assign rule to the respective placeholder
