2465779 - Shadow Instance stopping the Upgrade due to NoSuchMethodError

Symptom

In the upgrade from Solution Manager 7.1 to 7.2, the SUM SP17 PL02 stops with error in phase Deploy Shadow Instance.

In the SUM log DEPLOY-SHADOW-INSTANCE_XX.LOG, located at /<SUM>/sdt/log/SUM/, you can see an error like:

java.lang.NoSuchMethodError: com.sap.engine.interfaces.cross.FCAConnector.getExistingConnection(BBILjava/lang/String;)Lcom/sap/engine/interfaces/cross/Connection;
