Symptom

  1. Error received when trying to connect from Windows host to OS400 host:

        *** ERROR => CPDA0FF occured: XDNXDAAPI:BuildTCPConnection: Can't Connect to: sap<SID>:96## (11001)

 

   2.  Error received when connecting to local host

       ERROR => CPDA0FF occured: XDNXDAAPI:BuildTCPConnection: Can't Connect to: <hostname>:96<nn> (78)
