Symptom
- Database load (restoring from backup dump) fails with 'uncompressing' error in Backup Server log:
SYBMULTBUF ERROR: Length of buffer after uncompressing (XXXXX) is not the same as original length at the time of the dump (YYYYY).
Backup Server: 4.143.2.22: [0] A failure occurred for database/archive device while working on stripe device '/ASE_dumps/daily/MY_DB_NAME.DUMP_4_of_6.20210311'.
Look for 'zzzz A33: SYBMULTBUF ERROR: ' in the backup server errorlog for additional information from SYBMULTBUF.
Backup Server: 6.32.2.3: '/ASE_dumps/daily/MY_DB_NAME.DUMP_4_of_6.20210311': volume not valid or not requested (server: , session id: 170.)
Backup Server: 1.14.2.4: Unrecoverable I/O or volume error. This DUMP or LOAD session must exit.
