2469104 - Competency Connector TEASER error

The competency connector fails with the following error:
"Input value is Null, Rejecting the record. TEASER_NAME etc...."

1. Run the Competency Library export job in Provisioning
2. Run the competency connector in Learning
3. the competency connector fails with an error related to TEASER_NAME

1. Teasers required values are missing in the input file.
2. There is no default rating scale ID configured in the connector properties.

1. For Teasers, the following values must be provided in the input file:

• Category
• Competency name
• Teaser name
• Performance level

If the competencies you are exporting to Learning do not have TEASER data, the competencies must be updated manually or via import (in Foundation) before you can export them to Learning (see related article in the References section).

2. Configure default rating scale and update properties in the Competency Connector Configurations in Learning administration:

Teaser data corresponds to rating scale data in Learning. Instead of creating a rating scale for each competency record, we recommend you use a single rating scale and set it as the default for all competencies synced to Learning.

1. Create a default rating scale in References > System Administration > Rating Scales > Add new (optional if you already have one)
2. Set the following properties in Configuration > System Configuration > Connectors > competency.connector

• competency.connector.sf.rule.useDefaultRatingScale.enable = true

• competency.connector.defaultValue.RatingScaleID = "ID of the rating scale you want to set as default"
