2469133 - Job Info: Event Reason (event-reason) field is shown twice in Job Information portlet

The Event Reason field is displayed twice in the Job Information portlets in every page the Job Information portlet is displayed on. Example -:

• Job History
• Take Action > Change Job and Compensation Info > Job Info
• Add New Employee wizard
• Rehire Inactive Employee

• Employee Central 2.0
• Revolution (v12) UI
• People Profile (PP3) UI

The event-reason field is shown twice in the Job Information screen after being added explicitly to the jobInfo hris-element in the succession data model. This is to drive functionality to use onChange rules for value changes on event reason.

Up until 1711 release - it is not supported to add this field to your Succession Data Model configuration.

By design, the Event Reason field is not included in the Data Model. This is a system hard-coded field and therefore is not enable or configured in the data model.

• Since "Event-reason" field is added in Succession Data Model ,you need to remove it from Succession Data Model as it's Hard-coded.
• Kindly remove it from the Data Model or you can change the visibility of the field to "none" in hris-element "jobInfo" in Succession Data Model or via Business Configuration UI.
