2469171 - Troubleshooting for Message variable inconsistencies in Application Log Monitoring alert notifications in Solution Manager 7.1

Symptom

Within SAP Solution Manager 7.1, alert notifications dispatched for Application Log monitors are displaying "&" or "&&" in place of SLG1 message variables in the Text Value section of the notification, e.g.:

  • SLG1 log message "Account <account number> is currently blocked by <User ID>" appears as alert notification text value "1 logs found. In application log 335489132 1 x: Account & & is currently blocked by user &".
