Resolution

There are 3 Date Range ad hoc reports available:

  1. Job Information (Date Range)
  2. Recurring Compensation Information (Date Range)
  3. Non-Recurring Compensation (Date Range)

Job Information and Recurring Compensation Information portlets are effective dated; whereas Non-Recurring Compensation portlet is non-effective dated. The Non-Recurring Compensations have issuing dates but they don't have Start Date (Event Date) and end dates like the other two portlets. Job Information (Date Range) report is driven by Job Information. Recurring Compensation Information (Date Range) and Non-Recurring Compensation (Date Range) are driven by Compensation Information.

The two fields "Event Date' and "Last Modified On" are available in the following views (tables):

  • Job Information (Date Range) - Job Information
  • Recurring Compensation Information (Date Range) - Job Information, Compensation Information, Recurring Pay Component, Target Pay Component
  • Non-Recurring Compensation (Date Range) - Job Information, Pay Component Non Recurring, Compensation Information, Recurring Pay Component, Target Pay Component

When the report is driven by Job Information and it is effective dated, then the default date range limits (+1/-1 years from current date) for filters apply. It also applies when the report is not driven by Job Informaion and it is non-effective dated.

For example, the filter date limitation is applicable for Job Information (Date Range) - Job Information (effective dated and driven by Job Information) and Non-Recurring Compensation (Date Range) - Pay Component Non Recurring (non-effective dated and not driven by Job Information). For all other views the limitation does not apply.
