2469357 - Delta extraction for an extractor-based, time-related DataSource fails

A delta load or delta initialization using an extractor-based DataSource with time-related delta pointer fails.

Examples of such DataSources include 0FI_GL_10, 0FI_GL_14, 3FI_GL_xx_TT, 0EC_PCA_1, 0EC_PCA_3, 0FI_GL_4, 0APO_LPROD_ATTR, etc.

The symptom materializes in different ways depending on the underlying extraction technology:

• For a request triggered from an Infopackage (S-API), its "Status" tab shows the following situation:

• Technical status is red and shows message "Error occurred in the source system"
• The additional info box shows the following text
  

       Error message from the source system
       
       Diagnosis
       An error occurred in the source system.
       
       System Response
       Caller 09 contains an error message.

• When you click on the "Error Message" button, you find message "Errors in source system" (Message no. RSM340)
• The corresponding background job log in the source system (transaction SM37) contains no errors
  
  
• For a request triggered from a DTP (ODP API), its monitor screen shows the following situation:
• A failure occurred in the "Process Request" step
• The message log related to the failed process show the following errors:

       
       Error while extracting data: DataSource <DataSource name>, package 000000
       Error in data extraction (extractor <extraction funcion name>)
       Error in substep
       Error in data extraction (extractor <extraction funcion name>)
       Request processing terminated

• The corresponding background job log related to the composite request in the source system (transaction ODQMON) contains the same error messages as in the DTP
