When trying to perform transport tasks such as releasing a transport request, the operation seems to hang or gets into an inconsistent state.
If the problem happens at transport release time, the status "In process : requires update" can be seen in the transport request logs.
Checking the SLOG file under DIR_TRANS/log, the following error message appears multiple times:
