2469512 - SAPGetData lost cell information with Excel Grouping

Symptom

The report has some grouped rows with SAPGetData function.

When the user tries to collapse and expand some rows, the system replaces the original values by "#NAME?"

Environment

SAP Analysis for Microsoft Office

Cause

In some scenarios Excel tries to recalculate formulas for rows grouping. As the formulas are defined in AO, Excel does not find the formulas and returns "#NAME?". The formula is not gone. It is still visible in the formula field but its (old) value is not readable any more.

Resolution

Due to the fact Excel tries to recalculate the values, a refresh is required.

If you want to share the workbook as Excel file to users without an AO installation, the only option is not to use formulas with Excel Grouping in this scenario.
