Symptom

Software Update Manager (SUM) throws the below error in the step: POST-UNDEPLOY-COMPONENTS as shown below (Logfile: <Path to SUM>/SUM/sdt/log/SUM/POST-UNDEPLOY-COMPONENTS_XX.LOG)

Apr 28, 2017 2:03:26 PM [Error ]: Undeployment of component sap.com/com.sap.portal.contentmigration.pcd50 is rejected because undeployment of other component it depends on is rejected.

Update/Upgrade of NW portal to NW 7.31, NW 740 or NW 750 having BP_MDM_APP and BP_MDM_TECH deployed
