2469927 - BENCH_ERROR appears when opening a Web Intelligence report in HTML mode using OpenDocument link

Symptom

  • By opening a Web Intelligence report using OpenDocument link, the following BENCH_ERROR appears:

\u003Cinput type=\"hidden\" name=\"BENCH_ERROR\" value=\"Error Number :  - Error Description : Failed to retrieve the cube for connection <Connection name> to BEx Queries in BW System.\"\u003E 

Failed to retrieve the cube for connection <Connection name> to BEx Queries in BW System. (Error: INF)

  • Issue is only reproducible in BI launch pad, HTML mode.
  • The error is not related to "Refresh on open" function.
