2470161 - ORA-14037: partition bound is too high - RSORAPARTGEN

Symptom

  • You get an error while running the Partitioning Engine (Report RSORAPARTGEN)
  • The DDLs generated by RSORAPARTGEN are using duplicated partition ranges. For example:
PARTITION "<partition>" VALUES LESS THAN
('100','0084000000')
,
PARTITION "<other partition>" VALUES LESS THAN
('100','0084000000')
  • BRSPACE reorg returns the following error while executing the partitioning:
 ORA-14037: partition bound of partition "<partition>" is too high
