2470207 - Manage Initiatives Page Won't Load or Save Initiatives

• The system takes a long time to load the Manage Initiatives page, or it will not load
• The system takes a long time to save Initiatives or the Initiatives Group
• The page will be stuck after selecting a Goal Plan under the Align With Goal Plan tab

SAP SuccessFactors Goal Management

Scenario 1

1. Action Search: Manage Initiatives
2. Locate an initiative and click Action > Assign
3. In the Assign to User tab, click on the current selection for People Pool > Search button > select a company
4. Click Finished
5. Click Finished
6. See a loading screen that doesn't go away

Scenario 2

1. Action Search: Manage Initiatives
2. Locate an initiative and click Action > Assign
3. In the Align With Goal Plan tab, select a goal plan > Done
4. The next page will not load

• A large number of users are added to the People Pool and it doesn't update before closing the Initiative Group Assignment. The system is designed to handle 100 initiatives per user, and more than 200 per user will cause system latency.
• A user is not selected on the Assign to User tab
• Initiative group is invalid (members are listed in the initiative group but can't see people info in the group assign page)
• Initiative Group Name is over 85 characters

I. A large number of users are added to the People Pool and it doesn't update before closing the Initiative Group Assignment

1. After step 6, locate the Active Group Membership box in the upper right-hand corner and select the Update button

2. The Active Group Membership should change to reflect the edit to the People Pool

3. Click Finished and the screen will move forward

II. A User is Not Selected on the Assign to User tab

1. Action Search: Manage Initiatives
2. Locate an initiative and click Action > Assign
3. On the Assign to User tab, select a user or people pool
4. On the Align With Goal Plan tab, select a goal plan > Done

III. Initiative Group is Invalid

1. Remove the invalid initiative groups by selecting Action > Delete
2. Create new initiative groups in the same page
3. Assign users and align the template in the new initiative group
4. Align the initiative to goals in the goal page

IV. Initiative Group Name Has Over 85 Characters

• Shorten Group Name to 85 characters or less
