This KBA explains how to identify whether the time recording was created manually or generated by system or imported via External Time Data object.
This KBA also explains how to figure out the external code of the External Time Data, if the time recording was imported via External Time Data.

Resolution
From the Time Sheet UI, you can easily identify whether the time recording was created manually from UI or not. This is consistent for both Legacy Week and Flexible Period Time Sheets.
The little person icon indicates this recording was enterred manually. Otherwise, the time recording was either generated by the system or imported via External Time Data (including from paired CICO time events).
To tell whether the time recording was generated or imported, the following ways can be followed.
- For Legacy Week time sheets
- The Time Record Origin field in Employee Time object saves how the corresponding entry was generated.
- "Time Sheet Generation" indicates corresponding entry is generated by system.
- "Time Sheet Import" indicates corresponding entry is imported.
- Blank indicates the corresponding entry is manually created.
