2471552 - No Tax Number Type for Country Japan

You are trying to create a New Tax Authority for country Japan and see that the Tax Numbers are not available.

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to Tax Management work center.
2. Go to Tax Authorities view.
3. Go to Tax Authorities subview.
4. Create a New -> Tax Authority.
5. Add Country: Japan.
6. Navigate to tab Company Tax Arrangements. Now select Tax Numbers tab.
7. Click Add Row to enter new Tax Number Type.
8. Tax Number Type shows No items found.

You cannot maintain Tax Numbers (Tax Number Type and Tax Number) for Japan because it is not legally supported in Japan.

The Tax Authority for Japan can be saved without maintaining Tax Numbers and the business transactions in future is not affected.
