2471639 - Add/Edit Icon Doesn't Show on Successor Portlet for Role-person Nomination - People Profile

Symptom

  • Add/Edit link doesn't show on SAP SuccessFactors Succession portlet in People Profile when the nomination method is Role-Person.
  • Role has Succession Planning permission but still no Add or Edit link shows on Successor Portlet in People Profile

Reproducing the Issue

Role has Succession Management & Matrix Report and Succession Planning permissions but there is no way to do nomination via Successor Portlet as the Add link doesn't show in the portlet:

Cause

This behavior is by design.

Resolution

Currently, Add/Edit link won't show on Successor Portlet in People Profile for Role-Person nomination method, it will show for Position & MDF Position nomination method.
