2471684 - How to import HANA models for Support Mode

Symptom

To import HANA models which are exported as SAP Support Mode to the local system.

SAP Support Mode is used to export individual objects for SAP support purposes.

This KBA demonstrate the process using a calculation view.

NOTE. SAP Support Mode export does not include data any longer

Pre-requisite

- User needs the system privilege "REPO.IMPORT" and the Object Privilege EXECUTE on REPOSITORY_REST

- Exported model as SAP Support Mode

The structure of the exported model looks like this (unzipped .tgz file from customer):
