2472111 - LM80 material no. truncated as field allows only 8 digits

Symptom

  • In transaction LM80 only the first 8 characters of the material number are displayed, so if the material number is longer, the rest of the characters are "cut off".
  • Material code is truncated in LM80 ("Serial Number Capture", program SAPLLXSER, screen 2216)
