2472304 - DVM Chapter of EWA report does not work for BW systems - SAP Solution Manager 7.2

• The following message is present in DVM section of EWA report:

This report does not have a Data Volume Management (DVM) section focusing on Deletion and Data Archiving because it was generated for a BW system. The main result of the DVM section focusing on deletion and data archiving would be the estimation of data reduction potential, which is calculated based on the time distribution of data. Unfortunately, the most relevant data on BW systems does not have this time distribution. Therefore, data reduction potential cannot be calculated for BW systems and a comprehensive DVM section cannot be generated in this report.

• In step 7 of the DVM setup, there is a red status for 'Activation of DVM Chapter in EarlyWatch Alert', and processing mode 'EWA default settings' also shows a red error for 'Immediate Availability', and it is not possible to schedule this processing mode.
