Symptom

Software Update Manager (SUM) fails in the step DETERMINE-JDBC-DRIVER with the below error (Logfile: <Path to SUM>/SUM/sdt/log/SUM/DETERMINE-JDBC-DRIVER_XX.LOG)

Apr 8, 2017 10:05:37 PM [Error ]: The following problem has occurred during step execution: com.sap.sdt.util.diag.DiagException:
Error while executing Task with input file ReadProfiles.xml and task READ_DB_DRIVER_LOCATION.
Could not build configuration from input file <Path to SUM>/SUM/sdt/config/ReadProfiles.xml.
Cannot build task 'READ_DB_DRIVER_LOCATION' from configuration because required attribute 'value' was not resolved by the macro processor.
