Resolution

Whether the section weight percentage is displayed in the header, depends on which summary sections you are using in your form, the section permissions for these sections and the field permission for the section weight.

The priority of these summary sections are Performance Potential Summary Section > Summary Section > Objective Competency Summary Section.

  1. If the Performance Potential Summary Section is configured in the form, the section weight permission will be none for each Objective/Competency Section.
In this case, no section weight is displayed besides each Objective/Competency section's section name.

  2. If the Summary Section is configured in the form(without Performance Potential Summary Section), the section weight permission will be controlled by form level configuration and section level configuration.
If the section weight should be displayed, the following configuration needs to be set for teh Objective/Compentecy Section:

Enable the "Display section in summary" setting in Manage Templates

    option.png
  • the user who accesses the form needs to be able to see the summary section (the section permission is either set to disabled or enabled)
  • the user who accesses the form needs to be able to see the section weight field (the field-permission needs to be set to read or write)
  1. If the Objective Competency Summary Section is configured in the form(without Performance Potential Summary Section and Summary Section), the section weight permission will be controlled by form level configuration and section level configuration.

If the section weight should be displayed, the following configuration needs to be set for the Objective/Compentecy Section:

  • Enable the "Display in Objective section" or "Display in Competency section" setting in Manage Templates
  • Set a section weight, used by the Objective-Competency-Summary Section.
  • For Objective Sections this can be done in Manage Templates, by adding a value in the "Section Weight for Obj/Comp Summary:" field

Objective_Section_Manage_Templates.png

  • For Competency Sections the code <sect-weight-4-objcomp-summary>50.0</sect-weight-4-objcomp-summary> needs to be added to the template xml (50.0 can be replaced with the section weight needed by the customer)
  • the user who accesses the form needs to be able to see the Objective Competency Summary Section (the section permission is either set to disabled or enabled)

NOTE: Kindly please also cross check that "show-weight="true"" is configured for the Form Template XML in Provisioning.
