2473944 - Download an Attachment to Offline Mode Using SAP Cloud for Customer Extended Application

Symptom

Steps to download and access file attachments in offline mode using the SAP Cloud for Customer Extended app. 

Resolution

Steps to download the attachment file from offline mode.

  • Go to the required Attachments tab.

    • Note: Before synchronization, you will see only the Trash icon in the Actions column for the file.

  • Go to the User Menu and click Sync Now.

  • After the synchronization is complete, a new icon will appear in the Actions column.

  • Click this new icon to download the file for offline use.

  • You will notice that the indicator in the Download to Offline column turns Green, meaning the file is now successfully available in offline mode.

To Confirm:

  • Go to the User Menu and click Go Offline.

  • Navigate to the Attachments tab.

  • Verify that a green indicator is visible in the Offline Available column, confirming that the file can be opened in offline mode.
