2474496 - Site ID Cannot be Deleted

You have De-limited/Deleted Business Residence but cannot delete the Site ID.

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to Supply Chain Design Master workcenter.
2. Select Site/Locations view.
3. Search for the Site ID XXX (XXX represents the ID of the Site).

You cannot delete the Site from the Actions button.

• The Site ID does not get deleted once you Delimit or Delete the Business Residence.
• The Site element will be used in multiple areas including product master data. 
• To avoid the possibility of inconsistencies arising when the site is deleted, you only have the option to Block or make the site obsolete. 

You can only Block the site after deactivating Org Unit or Obsolete the site so that it is not available under Active options.

Follow the steps below:

1. Go to Supply Chain Design Master workcenter.
2. Select Site/Locations view.
3. Select the Site ID XXX in.
4. Select Edit.
5. Select Block or Obsolete from the Change Status button.
