2475104 - DUMP TRANSACTION is hung with status "sleeping" - SAP ASE

• A process (spid) executiing a DUMP TRANSACTION command with a status of "sleeping" is shown in the sysprocesses table:

• "kill <spid>" does not kill the spid
• "kill <spid> with force" does remove the spid from the sp_who output but the process remains in sysprocesses.
• The  ALTER DATABASE command to expand the database is blocked by the DUMP TRANSACTION process.
