2475976 - Terminating a manager from a mass position with two or more incumbents does not transfer the reports correctly to the remaining manager.

Symptom

When you terminate a manager that is sharing a position with another manager you notice that the reports are not being correctly transfered to the other manager in the shared position.

Environment

SAP-successFactors-Employee Central-All Versions

Detailed environment:

  1. You have position management enabled;
  2. You are using position types;
  3. In position type you have selected the option "To next manager on leaving position if available";

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Select the manager you want to terminate;
  2. Click on Take Action>Terminate;
  3. See that you only have the option to transfer the reports to the Manager's manager;

Cause

Product limitation.

Resolution

Currently there is a limitation in position management when you are terminating one manager in a shared position where you do not have the option to transfer the reports to the other incumbent of the terminated manager position.

This limitation is already been addressed by success factors's engineering team.
