Item Object Details report returns Items that do not have Content Objects associated to them

SAP SuccessFactors Learning Management System (LMS)

1. Login to Learning Admin
2. Navigate to Reports (button in top right)
3. Search for Item Object Details
4. Select CSV report type
5. Filter for a Online Item that have no Content Objects associated to it
6. Note the Items are returned in the resulting CSV with the Content details blank

Per Product Management, this is the expected behavior of the Item Object Details report

Per Product Management:

• The Item Object Details report is meant to return all Items in the Online Item table (pa_cbt_cpnt) regardless of whether or not there are content objects associated with that Item
• Items could have online content interaction at any time
• The base line queries include all items

Workarounds:

• Filter on Items that contain content objects (this assumes it's known which Items have content objects)

• Submit an Enhancement Request for Development to consider adding in an option to filter out any Items that do not have a content object associated to them

• Customize the report to filter out any Items that do not have objects associated to them
• To note, report customization falls under Professional Services if assistance is needed to create or customize reports

• Run the report in CSV mode, use Excel to filter out the Items where the object detail cells are blank
