Symptom

  • Replication for a remote source stops with the following error:
    Schema changed for table with OID = ### at subscription xxxxx.xxxxxxxxxxxx[remoteTriggerId=40020747] for remote resource = xxxxxxx[remoteSourceID=#######].
  • Selecting "retry" triggers a suggestion to drop the subscription:
    Operation = RETRY.Cannot PROCESS REMOTE SUBSCRIPTION EXCEPTION. exception_oid ###. You can only drop subscription.: line 1 col 1 (at pos 0)
