2476858 - Plus symbol (+) is replaced with space when passed to backend application via URL

Symptom

  • You have configured an App Integrator iview, or a URL iview to pass a parameter including plus '+' symbol to an application
  • You have encoded the '+' symbol as required to value '%2B'
  • Checking a HTTP request tracing tool (e.g: HTTPWatch, Fiddler) the '%2B' symbol does not decode to a plus symbol, instead a space ' ' is received by the application
