Symptom

  • On installation of a product Add-on (Analysis for Office, Lumira, Design Studio etc), the following error is encountered and installation cannot continue:

    Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library

    Assertion failed!

    Program: ..ssObjects\InstallData\setup.engine\SetupEngine.exe
