2477465 - Error 7008 during replication

Symptom

  • Error 7008: The specified table, memo file, or index file was unable to be opened.
  • The replication queue is populated but transactions are not replicated.
  • The replication queue does not store any error.

  • The ADS_Err_rep.adt file shows that error 7008 is thrown by the following source code lines: funct.c  346, replication.c 10869, replication.c 10521

  • Deleting the entries in the replication queue using the sp_DeleteReplicationEntry and then calling sp_ProcessReplicationQueues to restart the replication works until there is a new transaction in the queue (the screenshot below shows a transaction with ID 1621810).
