2477542 - b1705 - Position Reverts Back to Initial Value Once Changed, Must be Selected Twice

When changing the Position In Job Information. The Position to Job Information Sync triggers and then the Position is reverted back to the pervious value.
The position must be selected twice for the Position to remain and correctly trigger the Position to Job Information Sync.

Employee Central - Position Management

 1. Change the Positon via MSS.
 2. Position to Job Information Sync Triggers briefly and then all changes and position reverts to pervious selection.
 3. Select the Position for a second time.
 4. The Position to Job Information Sync works correctly.

This is currently a known issue when the Company is included in the Position to Job Information Sync rule.

Engineering are currently working on a fix for this issue planned for the b1708 release.

Please use one of the following workarounds in the interim:
 • Remove the Company mapping from the Position to Job Information Sync Rule and select Company prior to making a position change.
 • Use Company Filter for Positions in MSS Job Information and History and remove Company mapping from the Position to Job Information Sync Rule. This can be enabled in the UI Customising tab of Position Management Settings.
