Symptom
You may get the below error when a table which has IDENTITY column is replicated.
ERROR #1028 DSI EXEC(105(1) RDS.MSA) - dsiqmint.c(4806)
Message from server: Message: 7756, State 1, Severity 16 -- 'Cannot use 'SET IDENTITY_INSERT' for table 'dbo.test1' because the table does not have the identity property.'.
The error appears in the below conditions:
- Replication system is Multi-Site Availability (MSA)
- Primary table has IDENTITY column, but secondary table has not
- Table replication definition is not defined for the table
