2478689 - Duplicate Competencies when Adding a Development Goal

• When trying to create a Development Goal, competency drop down should list the values once, however, it is listed twice.
• Happens in PM forms and in the Development Plan

SAP SuccessFactors Career Development Planning

1. Login to the instance
2. Navigate to Development tab or Development section in a PM form
3. Click on Add New
4. Competencies are appearing twice for selection

There are two options to check:

1. Competency in Development plan is retrieved from the Library that is mapped in the form template and as well from the Job role.

    For Example if the configuration of the Development plan as:

    <competency-filters>
    <include type="Test library" match="Test"/>
    </competency-filters>

It will get competencies from both library "Test", Job role and Form.

2. There may be different competency libraries with the same competency labels.

    Check the competency libraries in Provisioning to verify. Competency labels should be unique and not duplicated across different libraries.
