2478820 - SQL Remote on Linux retries FTP connection indefinitely

Symptom

  • If an FTP server can not be reached, SQL Remote on Linux will try indefinitely to connect.
  • If logging is enabled (-o or -ot switch), this can cause the log file to grow until it fills the hard drive.
