2479430 - Unable to Remove Set Process Control

You are unable to remove the existing lines of the set process control as the button is greyed out.

1. Go to General Ledger work center.
2. Select Companies view under Master Data view.
3. Select the company id line and click on Set Process Control tab.

Upon selecting the old lines for which the Entry Possible Until is expired or before the current date then for such lines the Remove button is greyed out.

If the Set Process Control line is no more valid, then it is not allowed to be removed by system.

Here, validity indicates that the set process control line settings cannot be applied by the system for the current operational postings.

In the Set Process Control Screen, Under the General tab if you choose the show as 2 - Relevant for today, then it will list of all the set process control settings which are valid and based on those settings system is performing certain postings to allow or not to allow postings.

This is the line which is valid, hence you will be able to remove only this line which is valid, those lines which are expired/overwritten will anyway not influence in the posting of the documents.

Note: To know if the set process control is valid or not, choose show as 2 - Relevant for today & also check Entry Possible Until dates to see if it is valid for the current date and if valid then you will be able remove the settings because for all the valid lines, the remove button is enabled to delete the row.
