2479646 - Resolving Problems with Launch notifications on Fiori 2.0: Missing notification icon or notifications not visible

Symptom

  • Notification icon or area is missing on Fiori Launchpad.
  • Even if notification icon is visible, clicking on it displays no notifications; message dialog, "You have no notifications" is seen and error pop-up, "An error occurred" is thrown.
  • The Gateway error logs show, "Internal server error. Failed to get notifications".
