2480941 - How to schedule a Report Distributor bundle multiple times a day

Symptom



  • The recurring options for a Report Distributor bundle are Daily, Weekly, and Monthly.
  • Users want to know if it is possible to run a report multiple times a day using one bundle.



Environment


  • SAP SuccessFactors HXM Suite
  • Report Distributor (Advanced Reporting, ORD)

Reproducing the Issue


  1. Navigate to the Report Distributor in SAP SuccessFactors HXM Suite.
  2. Attempt to schedule a report multiple times a day using one bundle.

Cause



Resolution


  1. Use the Add button multiple times to add Daily schedules for different times of the day. These schedules will be listed above the button.
  2. Note that only Canvas reports can be scheduled through the Report Distributor.
  3. Other types of reports (table, story) can only be scheduled via the Report Center.
  4. To schedule these other types of reports multiple times a day, create separate schedules for each instance.
