2481666 - PI Channel Extractor fails due to "Error while receiving data via HTTP call" error

Symptom

  • In Solution Manager Central PI monitoring UI, Channel Monitor is not working properly and displays "No Data":

  • When checking the extractor for channels ( PI Channel Extractor ) in Extractor Framework, following errors show up in the extractor Logs: "Error while receiving data via HTTP call".

  • When checking the involved RFC (E2E_SM_CHANNELMON_<PISID>) in transaction SM59 -> Connection test, the result is status code 403 "Forbidden":
