Symptom

Within SAP Solution Manager BPOps funcionalities, attempting to display the Detail List (Launch Detail Analysis) for an alerting or analytics object fails with one of the following behaviours occurring:

  • The SAPGUI window opened for the managed system is blank.
  • The SAPGUI window opened for the managed system requires user login credentials to access.
  • The SAPGUI window opened for the managed system displays a SAP Start Screen.
  • For IDOC Monitoring, the message "No data available - use "All Idocs" button to retrieve current status" is displayed in the detail list when opened.
  • In the WEBGUI opened for the "Launch Detail Analysis for System XX:CLNT" link in the Alert Inbox the URL that opens points to SAP Solution Manager instead of the Managed System and the monitoring object is an Application monitoring object (for the rest of the objects the detail list will open in SAP Solution Manager).

Alternatively, one or more of the above behaviours occur when accessing the detail list for an active analytics key figure via the Detail Analysis function within Business Process Analytics.
