2482105 - Currency conversion failed error. Please provide missing rates for all needed types, categories and versions in the rate table in SAP Analytics Cloud

The following errors occur when trying to view data in story or publishing a version in a story using a model with currency (conversion) translation enabled in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC):

• The currency conversion failed. Please provide missing rates for all needed rate types and categories in the rate table 'sap.epm:Currency_Rates'.
• Could not convert from '<Currency1>' to '<Currency2>' on '<Date>'. Please provide missing rates for all needed types, categories and versions in the rate table.
• Sorry, we were unable to publish data from version 'A' to 'B'

The following error may also appear

• Unable to retrieve data from the datasource.
  Error: [Could not convert from 'AUD' to 'EUR' on '01.01.2020'. Please provide missing rates for all needed types, categories, and versions in the rate table.]
