2482156 - ERROR #1028 & Message: 10330 -'SELECT permission denied on object rs_profile' - SRS

Symptom

  • Setting up replication from SAP Adaptive Server Enterprise (ASE) to SAP IQ using SAP Replication Server (SRS)
  • Create connection using profile:
    create connection to IQ.IQDB
    using profile rs_ase_to_iq;standard
    set username to maint_user
    set password to maint_ps
    go
    Msg 11061, Level 12, State 0:
    Server 'RS':
    Check the log for error messages from RSSD.
  • Message reported in SRS errorlog:
     ERROR #1028 USER(sa) - s/stscol.c(2288)        
    Message from server: Message: 10330, State 1, Severity 14 -- 'SELECT permission denied on object rs_profile, database RS_RSSD, owner dbo'
