You have the option to see other user's calendars but you do not want users to be able to see other user's calendars.

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to the Calendar workcenter.
  2. Click the symbol in the bottom right corner > Other Calendars.
  3. Select a user.


The calendar only displays objects which the user already has authorization to view - it doesn't utilize its own authorization concept.

Hence, if you view another user's calendar, you can only see the user's Appointments, Phone calls and Visits which you already have access to. If you don't have access to that user's activities, you should not see them in the calendar.

Hence, if your business case is that the user should not see other user's activities, then the restrictions need to be maintained at the originating activity objects themselves, and the Calendar will reflect this accordingly.


We currently do not have a way to hide the Other Calendars feature in Calendar.

This is the expected system behaviour.
