2482562 - Error "LDAP response read timed out" in IDM-GRC integration

Symptom

  • In your IDM-GRC integration, a job fails and you observe the below timeout error in the DSE.log:
    "(LDAP error: Initialization of LDAP library failed)
    Explanation: LDAP response read timed out, timeout used:60000ms.
    Remaining name: cn=USER,ou=useraccessrequest,o=grc
    Resolved name: - javax.naming.NamingException: LDAP response read timed out, timeout used:60000ms.; remaining name 'cn=USER,ou=useraccessrequest,o=grc'"
  • In VDS Operation log, you observe the error:
    "Operation succesfully executed - but could not create context variable in IDM"
  • In the VDS trace file, you may observe the error:
    "LDAP Message Handler for Session id=99006: Connection error: Unexpected end of input"
