2482577 - Disable the "Recommend" option for users in Learning

We would like to disable / remove the ability for users in learning to Recommend a Learning item to another user.

The user is seeing an option to "Recommend" courses to colleagues when they search for courses in Library.

We would want to disable this option for the users.

The cause that the users are seeing this is because the role they are assigned to has the permission in it that allows them to Recommend Courses to their peers.

If you do not want to allow users to Recommend courses to their peers, the permission "Recommend to Peer" needs to be removed from the user role.

To remove the “Recommend to Peer” permission follow the steps below:

1. On the Learning Administration Side >
2. System Administration > Security > Role Management >
3. Search for the desired User Role > Click Edit >
4. Access Permissions tab > Expand "Learning" Permission ID > Search for “Recommend to Peer” permission and click the checkbox to Remove it from the user role >
5. Click Apply changes.

Once this permission is removed, the user will not see the option to Recommend courses to his/her peers.
