2482699 - Fiori - Uncaught (in promise) Error: Could not load annotation URL when opening Fiori app

• When opening a Fiori app, the following errors may appear:

Unable to load the data. This can happen if you are not connected to the Internet, or if an underlying system or component is not available.

or

Could not display data. Contact your system administrator.

• When the console log is inspected, you notice an error message similar to (note that MD_PRODUCT_FS_ANNO_MDL will change as related to different services):

Uncaught (in promise) Error: Could not load annotation URL: "/sap/opu/odata/IWFND/CATALOGSERVICE;v=2/Annotations(TechnicalName='MD_PRODUCT_FS_ANNO_MDL',Version='0001')/$value/.

• In the IWFND error log, the following error may be logged (where 'MD_PRODUCT_FS_ANNO_MDL' can be replaced by different annotation files, such as 'C_PURREQUISITIONITEM_FS_ANNO_MDL'):
  

  "Vocabulary Annotation File 'MD_PRODUCT_FS_ANNO_MDL' version '0001' not found on SAP GW Server"; See SAP Note 1797736 for error analysis.

• After publishing some CDS view as OData and using these to create Smart Business Application with KPI modeler, the created app cannot be displayed due to "Drilldown initialization failed" error. After deleting browser cache the following error message occurs in console:

  Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property 'data' of undefined
