Symptom

The following errors are encountered when a HANA stored procedure is called with an application user, which requires the creation of a temporary table:

  • SQLFacade.cpp(02528) : User <USER_NAME> is missing privilege CREATE TEMPORARY TABLE for SCHEMA <SCHEMA_NAME>
  • i Authorization    query_check.cc(03710) : User <USER_NAME> tried to execute 'CREATE LOCAL TEMPORARY TABLE "...'
  • e SQLScript        trex_llvm.cc(00901) : Llang Runtime Error: Exception::SQLException258: insufficient privilege: Not authorized
