2483111 - MS SQL Server remote source replication task fails with error: XML data type column not supported by MSSqlLogReaderAdapter - HANA SDI

Symptom

While trying to execute a replication task - for a MS SQL Server remote source (MSSqlLogReaderAdapter) - after a table with "Intitial + realtime", the following error message is seen at task execution:

  • Error: exception 151050: CDC add subscription failed: Failed to add the first subscription. Error: Table <"dbo"."Table"> contains <xml> data type column(s), which is not supported by MSSqlLogReaderAdapter CDC.
